New podcast ‘Trafalgar Squared’ launches on the 1st May!

To continue to build interest and support in the TV series Trafalgar I am launching a new podcast series on the 1st May. This will cover all aspects of the subject of the Georgian navy during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. My focus is always on the gripping and fascinating stories that came out of these times but I also aim to enrich people’s understanding of those times by offering detailed insights into how things were done. The first episode tells the hair-raising tale of how the first news of The Battle of Trafalgar reached London. Its a story I know in great detail, having worked for several years as a consultant for The Trafalgar Way .

Please subscribe to the Trafalgar Squared podcast here:

If you subscribe it will support the project by indicating to Acast that there is an appetite for this kind of content!

Thank you

  1. I am super excited about his podcast! I model ships of this era and listen to any historical fiction of this era that I can get my hands on, currently on the Dewey Lambdin series. I’d love to be someone you’d consider interviewing as it relates to model building since I’m pretty passionate about it. Sounds like you have a lot of interesting topics on future episodes that will cover various view points. I Looking forward to it!

    Thank you for doing this!

    1. Thanks for getting in touch Joshua – great to know that this podcast appeals to you. I am currently working on an episode which will look at the third rate and the frigate in some detail. It is early days for this podcast and the big question is whether I can make it a sustainable enterprise but I am enjoying it and at some point I hope to do one about the world of ship modelling so might come back with questions. All the best and thanks again for your message. Adam
